Augusta Laar, Künstlerin, Schriftstellerin und Musikerin, lebt in München und Wien. Leiterin der Lesereihe der Schamrock-Salons und des internationalen Schamrock-Festivals der Dichterinnen in München und Wien. 2016 Botschafterin der Schule für Dichtung Wien in Medellin, Mitglied des World Poetry Movement. Zusammen mit Kalle Aldis Laar bildet sie das Elektroakustik-Duo Kunst oder Unfall. Auftritte in Thiruvanathapuram, Istanbul, Riga, Wien, Venedig, Toronto, New York. Augusta und Kalle Aldis Laar veranstalten zusammen auch das Filmfestival female presence und den Kunst oder Unfall-Salon. Für ihre vielfältigen Aktivitäten wurde sie u. a. mit dem Kulturpreis Bayern Sparte Kunst 2022 sowie dem Anita Augspurg Preis der Stadt München ausgezeichnet. Veröffentlichungen zuletzt: Mitteilungen gegen den Schlaf(Melos, 2021) und Avec Beat (Black Ink, 2020).

Ana Pepelnik, geb.1979 in Ljubljana (damals Jugoslawien, heute Slowenien) ist Autorin, Übersetzerin und Musikerin. Sie studierte Vergleichende Literaturwissenschaften und Literaturtheorie in Ljubljana. Ihr erster Lyrikband Ena od variant kako ravnati s skrivnostjo (One Way to Treat a Secret) erschien 2007 und wurde für den First Book Award nominiert. Es folgten die Bände Utrip oranžnih luci na semaforjih (2009), Cela ve?nost (2013), Pod vtisom. (2015), Tehno (2017) und Treš (2021). Tehno war gleich für zwei renommierte slowenische Literaturpreise – den Jenko-Preis und den Veronika-Preis – nominiert.
Sie übersetzt Lyrik, vorrangig von amerikanischen Dichter:innen wie Matthew Zapruder, Elizabeth Bishop, Sylvia Plath und Walt Whitman, aber auch aus dem Slowenischen ins Englische. Sie ist Sängerin der Band Boring Couple und wirkt an multimedialen Lyrik-Musik-Multimedia-Projekten mit.

Simone Hirth, geb. 1985 in Freudenstadt, aufgewachsen in Lützenhardt, studierte am Deutschen Literaturinstitut in Leipzig. Nach diversen Umzügen und Aushilfsjobs lebt sie heute als freischaffende Autorin in Kirchstetten (Niederösterreich).
Simone Hirth begann mit Lyrik, mittlerweile schreibt sie auch Prosa. Sie wurde mehrfach ausgezeichnet – u. a. Literaturstipendium des Landes Baden-Württemberg, Start-Stipendium des BMUKK, Schwäbischer Literaturpreis, Hans-Weigel-Literaturstipendium des Landes Niederösterreich und zuletzt 2021 mit dem Reinhard-Priessnitz-Preis.
Ihr Debütroman Lied über die geeignete Stelle für eine Notunterkunft (Kremayr & Scheriau, 2016) wurde für den Alpha Literaturpreis nominiert. Zuletzt sind – ebenfalls bei Kremayr & Scheriau – die Romane Bananama (2018) und Das Loch(2020) erschienen, sowie in der Literaturedition NÖ der Miniaturenband 365 Tassen Kaffee mit der Poesie (2021).

Jurgita Jasponité, geb. 1981 in Zarasai/Litauen, studierte in Vilnius Pädagogik und Litauische Philologie. Sie ist Mutter zweier Töchter (Ugne und Jüre Jotvile) und arbeitet als Bibliothekarin. Mit ihrer Gedichtsammlung Saltupe (das ist der Name einer Straße in Zarasai und bedeutet "kalter Fluss") gewann sie den Preise für das beste erste Buch der Litauischen Schriftstellervereinigung und den Zigmas Gele Preis für das beste Lyrikdebüt. Ihr zweiter Gedichtband Vartai Austrieji (The Sharp Gates of Dawn) erschien 2019 und wurde mit dem Vladas Slaitas Preis und dem Vilnius Mayor Prize für Gedichte über Vilnius ausgezeichnet.

Cornelius Hell, geb. 1956 in Salzburg, ist Autor, Übersetzer und Literaturkritiker. Er erhielt den Österreichischen Staatspreis für literarisches Übersetzen (2018), ein Elias-Canetti-Stipendium der Stadt Wien 2019-21 sowie ein Arbeitsstipendium des Deutschen Übersetzerfonds 2021. Zuletzt erschienen der Essayband Ohne Lesen wäre das Leben ein Irrtum (Sonderzahl, 2019) und die Übersetzung des Gedichtbandes Variation über das Thema Erwachen von Tomas Venclova (Hanser, 2022).

Cornelia Travnicek, geb. 1987 in St. Pölten, studierte Informatik und Sinologie. Übersetzung chinesischer Lyrik und Prosa ins Deutsche. Veröffentlichungen in diversen Zeitungen und Magazinen (u. a. Die Presse, Die Zeit, Volltext, manuskripte, LICHTUNGEN). Shortlist-Nominierung beim Österreichischen Buchpreis 2020 für den Roman Feenstaub (picus, 2020). Zuletzt erschien das illustrierte Jugendbuch Harte Schale, Weichtierkern (Beltz, 2022). Ihr neuer Lyrikband Assu. Aus Reisen wird im Frühjahr 2023 im Limbus Verlag erscheinen. www.corneliatravnicek.com

Tang Siu Wa lebt als Autorin von Lyrik und Prosa, Kulturkritikerin und Kuratorin in Hong Kong. Sie ist Mitgründerin und -herausgeberin des Literaturmagazins Fleurs des Lettres und derzeit Chefredakteurin verschiedener Literaturmagazine in Hong Kong. Sie ist zudem Chefkuratorin des House of Hong Kong Literature. Tang ist Autorin von zwei Gedichtsammlungen vier Essaybänden. Sie nahm an verschiedenen internationalen Schreibprogrammen teil – u. a. International Writing Workshop Iowa (2014), The Vermont Studio Center (2016), Taipei Poetry festival (2018) und Schamrock Festival der Dichterinnen (2020).

The 6th International Poetry Biennale – Schamrock Festival of Women Poets – will take place in Munich from November 4th to 6th, 2022 and will stop before that in the Literaturhaus Vienna/Wien.

Augusta Laar, artist, writer and musician, lives in Munich and Vienna. Head of the reading series of the Schamrock Salons and the International Schamrock Festival of Female Poets in Munich and Vienna. 2016 Ambassador of the Vienna School of Poetry in Medellin, member of the World Poetry Movement. Together with Kalle Aldis Laar she forms the electroacoustic duo Kunst oder Unfall. Performances in Thiruvanathapuram, Istanbul, Riga, Vienna, Venice, Toronto, New York.
Augusta and Kalle Aldis Laar also organize the film festival female presence and the art or accident salon.
For her diverse activities she was u. a. awarded the Bavarian Culture Prize Art 2022 and the Anita Augspurg Prize of the City of Munich.
Recent publications: Messages Against Sleep (Melos, 2021) and Avec Beat (Black Ink, 2020).

Ana Pepelnik, born 1979 in Ljubljana (then Yugoslavia, today Slovenia) is an author, translator and musician. She studied comparative literature and literary theory in Ljubljana. Her first book of poetry Ena od variant kako ravnati s skrivnostjo (One Way to Treat a Secret) was published in 2007 and was nominated for the First Book Award. This was followed by the volumes Utrip oranžnih luci na semaforjih (2009), Cela ve?nost (2013), Pod vtisom, (2015), Tehno (2017) and Treš (2021). Tehno was nominated for two prestigious Slovenian literary prizes – the Jenko Prize and the Veronika Prize.
She translates poetry, primarily by American poets such as Matthew Zapruder, Elizabeth Bishop, Sylvia Plath and Walt Whitman, but also from Slovenian into English. She is the singer of the band Boring Couple and participates in multimedia poetry-music-multimedia projects.

Simone Hirth, born 1985 in Freudenstadt, grew up in Lützenhardt, studied at the German Literature Institute in Leipzig. After various moves and temporary jobs, she now lives as a freelance author in Kirchstetten (Lower Austria). Simone Hirth began with poetry, but now she also writes prose. She has received several awards - e.g. Literature grant from the state of Baden-Württemberg, Start grant from the BMUKK, Swabian Literature Prize, Hans Weigel literature grant from the state of Lower Austria and most recently the Reinhard Priessnitz Prize in 2021.
Her debut novel Song About the Suitable Place for an Emergency Shelter (Kremayr & Scheriau, 2016) was nominated for the Alpha Literature Prize. The novels Bananama (2018) and Das Loch (2020) have recently been published – also by Kremayr & Scheriau, the miniature volume 365 cups of coffee with poetry (2021) by Literaturedition NÖ.

Jurgita Jasponité, born in Zarasai/Lithuania in 1981, studied education and Lithuanian philology in Vilnius. She is the mother of two daughters (Ugne and Jüre Jotvile) and works as a librarian. With her collection of poems Saltupe (that's the name of a street in Zarasai and means "cold river") she won the Lithuanian Writers' Association's Best First Book Award and the Zigmas Gele Prize for Best Debut Poetry. Her second volume of poetry Vartai Austrieji (The Sharp Gates of Dawn) was published in 2019 and won the Vladas Slaitas Prize and the Vilnius Mayor Prize for poetry about Vilnius.

Cornelius Hell, born in Salzburg in 1956, is an author, translator and literary critic. He received the Austrian State Prize for Literary Translation (2018), an Elias Canetti grant from the City of Vienna 2019-21 and a working grant from the German Translator Fund 2021. Most recent publications are the volume of essays Without reading life would be a mistake (Sonderzahl, 2019) and the Translation of the volume of poems Variation on the theme Awakening by Tomas Venclova (Hanser, 2022).

Cornelia Travnicek, born in St. Pölten in 1987, studied computer science and sinology. Translation of Chinese poetry and prose into German. Publications in various newspapers and magazines (including Die Presse, Die Zeit, full text, manuscripts, LICHTUNGEN). Shortlist nomination for the Austrian Book Prize 2020 for the novel Feenstaub (picus, 2020). Most recently, the illustrated youth book Hard Shell, Mollusc Core (Beltz, 2022) was published.
Her new book of poetry Assu. Aus Reisen will be published by Limbus Verlag in spring 2023.

Tang Siu Wa is a Hong Kong-based poet and prose writer, cultural critic and curator. She is co-founder and co-editor of the literary magazine Fleurs des Lettres and is currently the editor-in-chief of various literary magazines in Hong Kong. She is also Chief Curator of the House of Hong Kong Literature.
Tang is the author of two collections of poems and four volumes of essays. She took part in various international writing programs – e.g. International Writing Workshop Iowa (2014), The Vermont Studio Center (2016), Taipei Poetry festival (2018) and Schamrock Festival of Women Poets (2020).
